Why is there cloudy water coming out of my RO system?Updated 3 months ago

Sometimes, initially cloudy water can appear when using an RO system. This cloudiness is often caused by natural air bubbles in the system, which should dissipate after the water is allowed to sit for a few minutes.

If air bubbles persist after several uses, the issue may relate to incomplete air purging from the system. Try this troubleshooting step:

  • Empty the system tank completely, then allow it to refill, using water from the tap to ensure there are no trapped air pockets.

Persistent cloudiness may indicate an underlying problem, and checking with the RO system instructions or getting in touch with the manufacturer could offer additional solutions.
